As part of our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we have joined the UN Legal & Economic Empowerment Global Network, and are partnering with the UN Business Action Hub.

Furthermore, we implemented NuupLab between 2018 and 2021. As a citizen innovation lab, NuupLab encouraged citizen collaboration to identify problems, design solutions, and implement them. NuupLab also offered citizen training to help them become more active in their communities. The lab created and articulated spaces for deliberation and experimentation to connect different social actors.

NuupLab’s achievements have been recognised by the UN Summer Academy in Bonn, Germany, by the G20 Young Global Changers in 2020 and 2021, and by the Berlin-based research project LATINNO.

We focused on the following areas and activities during these four years.

Research

We worked to increase the stock of knowledge on social innovation and entrepreneurship in Honduras.

Citizen Participation

We developed activities to involve citizens in the design and implementation process of innovative ideas.

Education/Learning

We designed training programs for social innovators to equipped them with the tools and skills they needed to effectively create social value.
